Scryer's Shadow - Ukie Student Jam 2025

As this jam was very short, My work touched on lots of different areas. My main roles were the player movement and level design, along with the narrative design that created the game's idea.
The theme of "contrast" immediately took me to light and shadow, and I was inspired by SCHiM's method of jumping between shadows. My teammate then suggested the idea of hiding from something, and Scryer's Shadow was born.
We wanted the game to be very simple in mechanics so we could pour lots of energy into the polish and gameplay.
